Storyboard For Music Video

Kaitlyn and I created our storyboard and the plot of the music video. We kept some of the same of the ideas, but we also changed a lot. For example, we are cutting out the costume changes, and we aren't going to become more "beaten up" as the song goes on.

Before the music starts, there will be a close up of my phone with a text message to Kaitlyn saying "I'll c u soon!" Then the music will start with an extreme close up of Stephanie putting on lipstick. It will then transfer to Kaitlyn's lips. The next scene will be when Stephanie is putting on eyeshadow, then it is going to cut into Kaitlyn putting on eyeshadow. The next scene will be Kaitlyn and Stephanie talking which leads into Kaitlyn walking to the kitchen. Kaitlyn will pour "poison" into a clear glass cup, but in reality it will be food coloring. The next scene will be Stephanie swinging a mallet. This will be an extreme close up, so the audience can only see the hand and the mallet. The next scene will take place in the living room. Kaitlyn will be sitting down with the drinks, while Stephanie is walking in with the mallet behind her back.

While Kaitlyn is looking away, Stephanie pours her drink into the plant. Kaitlyn goes to fill up her drink when she notices that it's empty. While Kaitlyn walks to the kitchen, Stephanie follows her. Stephanie pulls out the mallet and hits Kaitlyn. The screen goes black for 2-4 seconds. Then the rest of the scenes are in black and white. It shows a medium close up of Stephanie talking on an old looking phone. Then it will transfer to Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn then drops the phone while falling to the ground. The last scene may change depending on how we can record the fall in a safe and efficient way. If Kaitlyn can't fall in a safe way, then the scene will just be the fake phone falling.
